Wind hardened.

At 3100m above sea level, the Himalayan village of Lhogaon can get pretty cold, even in spring. These wind burned rosy cheeks are a common characteristic for all Tibetan people and through adaptation they have managed to maximize blood flow to the extremities in these very cold, freezing conditions.
